Today the legendary progamer White-Ra will be making a stop in Toronto as part of the “Main Stage Series” put on by the Interceptor Group. According to the event’s Facebook page, the Main Stage Series is “[a] unique opportunity to meet the players outside of the tournament environment but in a cosy and relaxed theatrical setting. For the first event, and this will be a first-ever such event in Canada, we invited no other than Aleksey ‘White-Ra’ Krupnyk. It is hard to find someone more liked, more respected and more friendly towards his fans than White-Ra. Being close to the age of retirement from e-Sports he has a lot to share about the life of a progamer. It is a great honour for us to welcome White-Ra to Toronto and we are looking forward to see you all at the theatre!”
The Main Stage Series will be broken down into three parts. The first part will feature White-Ra telling his life story. Expect to hear about how he got into progaming, the difficulties of being a progamer, and his plans for future. The second part will feature White-Ra going over some of his “Special Tactics” with the fans. Finally, the third part of this event will see White-Ra playing a showmatch against none other than compLexity’s own Ryze.
