In just a few hours compLexity’s qxc will be playing in the Fragbite Masters tournament. This online tournament, which starts out with two group stages before progressing into an 8 player single elimination bracket, features some of the best StarCraft II players on the planet. qxc’s first group stage, which is scheduled to start at 3:45 PM EST includes HyuN, RunA and SaSe.
In order to participate in the Fragbite Masters, players were either invited or had to make it through one of four qualifiers. qxc earned his way into this tournament by winning his bracket in the Fragbite Masters Qualifier #4 where he took out players like Lucky, MiNiMaTh, and uzer.
While this is an online tournament, the prize pool makes it look like a major LAN event. In total $24,700 is up for grabs, with first place taking home $12,300.
