CEO Bobby Kotick of Activision recently confirmed the rumor of a upcoming 2009 game — DJ Hero. With inspiration behind DJ sensation Paul Oakenfold, this will definitly be a game that brings you the same entertainment that players of games such as Rock Band and Guitar Hero get from hitting the highnotes of rock style musical instruments. Activision recently acquired FreeStyleGames who will be heading the development of this new project. Bobby Kotick had this to say on the subject: “We have this product called DJ Hero coming out later this year, which is a turntable that you actually can play competitively and spin discs and mix songs.” As expected the game will feature a turntable controller, so get the those fingers loose and be ready to spin the tracks!
