This past week, the Counter-Strike 1.6 community witnessed DreamHack Winter 2009, an extraordinary lan tournament over in Jönköping, Sweden. Just recently, Arbalet Cup has announced that they will be holding there first European tournament in Sweden although the Arbalet Cup is usually hosted in Russia. DreamHack Winter 2009 winner Team MYM will be participating in the Arbalet Cup as well as team EG who will be representing the United States and many more teams that also attended DreamHack Winter 2009 in Sweden. The Arbalet Cup will be played this Friday and throughout the weekend.
