Blight.USA has had many roster changes and problems since the ESEA finals. They left eMg and lost key players in order to go to a stronger backing sponsor. The team has since been looking for a strong 5th to replace Sean “sgaRes” Gares who left the roster when they decided to join Blight. They had planned to use Kevin “aZn” Wang and Fadil “Nepo” Canovic in WCG.USA.

It has been confirmed that the Blight roster will not attend WCG and they have been released from the organization. Blight owner, Blackfoger, had this to tell GotFrag.com: “We will be releasing our USA team due to the fact they have been unable to maintain a starting five as well as due to their lack of practice. Additionally, Dustin “dizzaman” Dilyerd would have been unable to attend WCG USA due to school.”

It is unsure what Blights next move is in North American counterstrike as they still have a top ranked Canadian team. They will be looking over the next month at possible teams to bring into the organization.
