Blizzard to make PVP changes?

BY Andrew Miesner / January 22, 2009

Since the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion, there have been some issues that have arrisen from the PVP community perspective. Some of the issues discussed were pet buffs and some burst damage being overpowered in the 3.08 patch. Below is a quote from SK Gaming’s site about the official forum post that Ghostcrawler spoke in.

We haven’t announced is what we are going to do about it. Risks of making ill-conceived changes include just shutting out classes or specs without a lot of CC potential, or perhaps having long stalemate-ish fights where nobody ever dies. But that doesn’t mean we won’t do anything.

Blizzard has hopped on the bandwagon with the rest of the players and will be figuring out how to fix the PVP so it isn’t “too easy” or “too hard”. They are looking into individual classes to see if the problem of “too much damage” can be narrowed down to a few classes, or whether it is a general trend. Ghostcrawler also sights a possible change in resilliance where damage could be reduced to a flat percentage. To read more you can follow the link below.
