It has been announced that the video stream for the upcoming Blizzcon event will not be free like the European and US Regional stream. While we enjoyed the stream from our homes for free with all the great commentating and interviews, you will have to fork out $39.95 to be able to enjoy the BlizzCon event. There hasn’t been any mention of a free low quality stream yet.
The deal came to be with a partnership with DirecTV, who was the partner of the late CGS. Here are the BlizzCon stream features:
– Exclusive interviews and commentary
– Main stage presentations including opening ceremony
– Tournament coverage and team highlights
– BlizzCon 2009-exclusive World of Warcraft in-game pet, Grunty the Murloc Marine
You can start to order the stream on June 23rd, but the cost could vary depending on your region.
