CAL Suspends Operations

Today the Cyberathlete Professional League ("CAL") announced that is has suspended operations. Previously we covered the website outtage that had many fans concerned the future of the league. However, it now appears that the league is ceasing operations, at least for the time being. Below is the short post made on the CAL site:

CAL Operations

All CAL Operations are currently suspended while the acquisition is being completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to the community.

A more formal announcement will be made in the coming days regarding when operations will resume.
