When Painkiller was released in 2004 people were let's just say less than impressed with the old-school charms, and if you have forgotten about it, you would be forgiven. That would explain the arrival of a brand new Painkiller game.
Painkiller: Resurrection, is an all-new sequel that sees you once again trapped between heaven and hell, and again be condemned to fast-twitch first-person combat.
The game is built on a tweaked version of the original engine, and unlike the first title will feature co-op play. The game is due on PC at the end of the year, with the "possibility" of a 360 version to come after.
