Description

We are looking for a proven new business development team member to join our growing partnerships team. The candidate should have successfully secured partnerships within the esports space. The Manager position, assisting the VP of Partnerships, will be responsible for driving revenue, maintaining successful relationships, thinking creatively with a strategic approach while being comfortable working at a fast pace. The team goal is to maintain the standard of the best partnerships team in esports and continue to support and grow the largest revenue driver in the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Sell successful partnerships to support revenue goals with a heavy emphasis on endemic esports categories
  • Achieve individual and team revenue goals
  • Existing strong network within the esports space
  • Maintain awareness of the gaming industry to proactively identify opportunities
  • Maintaining updates within the CRM in a timely manner
  • Support deck development and proposal generation for pitches
  • Ability to communicate and present to senior level executives
  • Demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure
  • Work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary
  • Work closely and effectively with the partnerships account management team
  • Work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Travel for events, meetings and execution of partnerships
  • Professionally represent Complexity at all times
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred  or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • US based
  • Willing to work out of Frisco, TX offices
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience within esports
  • Demonstrate track record of sales management achievements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have general understanding of gaming and esports market
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized
  • Must be able to follow ups on leads and leverage CRM accordingly
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Candidate must have previous experience in selling partnerships
  • Must be customer service and relationship building oriented
  • Must demonstrate high standard of excellence
  • Ability to receive criticism and make consistent improvements
  • Ability to think critically and evaluate “outside the box” concepts
