Changes to coL.COD

BY Andrew Miesner / April 11, 2016

Today we are announcing a change to our Call of Duty roster. In preparation for the upcoming second stage of the CoD World League, Jevon ‘Goonjar’ Gooljar-Lim will be replacing Chris ‘Parasite’ Duarte on the starting roster. Chris has already been released, and we are working with him to try to find him a new home for the upcoming season. With a wealth of experience and talent, we are confident that Chris will be highly sought after by multiple CWL teams. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

“After a season with mixed results, the squad decided we needed a roster change to adapt our playstyle to the current competition. We’re very happy to welcome Jevon to the team and are excited to have him on board,” said Jason Lake, Founder and CEO of Complexity Gaming. “We’d like to sincerely thank Chris for his time with us.  He’s a fierce competitor who did everything I asked with professionalism and maturity. I greatly enjoyed working with him and wish him the very best.

Jevon will begin training with the team immediately, and will be working with our management and legal representation to acquire an American P1-A athletic visa to ensure his continued ability to travel to US based LAN events.

@Goonjar

Jevon “Goonjar” Gooljar first started playing S&D variant GBs during Call of Duty: Black Ops. After the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Goonjar and his friends would begin to attend LAN events under the name of Donut Shop. His first major event with the team would be in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 at the MLG Winter Championship, where the team would finish in the top 10. In Black Ops 2, Goonjar played with Team Kaliber, where they would consistently place in the top events, making them a force to be reckoned with. During his inaugural Black Ops II days, Goonjar played under the handle “PingJar” before he adopted his newer name, “Goonjar.”
