China bans StarCraft II

In recent gaming news, China has decided to say NO to allowing StarCraft II to be played in ChinaJoy. ChinaJoy was going to be the first event ever to hold a StarCraft II event. Unofficial sources stated it could have something to do with the new laws that were passed on July 1st. The law basically states, any marketing promotion of non-Chinese games at Chinese events MUST be approved by the State Administration of News and Press.

Another unidentified source has also stated that the game in general may be too bloody and bad for the society. Blizzard has yet to release any details about ChinaJoy up to this point. The first match in StarCraft II will now be played on July 24th between Moon and Nada, two very famous SC players, in South Korea.
