coL.Black Secures a Spot in LCS!

Today, coL.Black heads to the Riot Games studio to take on Coast in the NORTH AMERICAN SUMMER PROMOTION. The 2014 NA Summer Promotion is a Challenger Event where 3 Challenger Teams are matched up with 6th, 7th, and 8th place LCS teams, and the winners make it to the Summer Split. coL.Black has advanced to this stage by taking down Curse Academy two weeks ago in the NA Challenger League Playoffs and Coast enters as the current LCS team looking to retain their spot in the league.

Format

• 6 Teams
  • 3 Season 4 LCS Spring Teams
  • 3 Challenger Series Playoff Teams
• Challenger vs LCS Teams
  • 6th place LCS selects challenger opponent first
  • 7th place LCS selects from remaining challenger opponents next
  • 8th place LCS is matched against remaining challenger team
• Best of 5 matches
• Winners advance to the Summer Split
  • Losers seeded into NA Challenger Series Summer
