In what was a dominating first half for EG, they took it to coL on de_nuke with a strong CT hold. Led by n0thing and Storm, EG was able to take the half 11-4. In the second half, the opposite proved to be true with coL taking the pistol and most of the following rounds to take their own 11-4 half, forcing the match into OT. In OT, it was all EG, however, as they took down coL by the score of 21-17.
On de_lite, it was all EG from the get-go, demolishing coL by the score of 16-7, only after coL was able to make a comeback after a 14-1 defecit.
ESEA Lan Finals for Season 5 are well under way and just moments ago coL.cs beat DINC 2-0. Next up for the guys will be the number one seed Evil Geniuses. EG received a first round bye.
