Unfortunately for coL, the group proved to be too strong as they were taken down by the newly crowned champions in Na`Vi, as well as SK. They were, however, able to surprise many by taking down MYM, Ravens and tieing WMF. With the top 3 teams advancing to bracket play, coL.cs unfortunately lost out on rounds won and had to depart from the tournament early.
It is time for the Intel Extreme Masters Global Finals! The last time our Counter-Strike team played outside North America they came home with a 3rd place finish at Dreamhack Winter. The guys are looking to improve that, especially with the recent addition of Impulsive.
It will not be an easy task for coL.cs as they are in Group B, which features: SK Gaming, MYM, Natus Vincere, WeMade Fox and Roskilde Ravens.
The matches are set to get underway tomorrow morning at 4AM EST, when we will open up against Natus Vincere.
