About half a year ago, Complexity Gaming ventured into the world of competitive Gwent with star player superjj and caster Merchant as the core of the squad. Since then additions such as Petrify to bolster the competitive side, as well as SirPumpkn for the streaming side, have panned out great. Today we are proud to take it a step further by signing potentially the best free agent on the market – welcome Frederick “Freddybabes” Bird to Complexity!
Since the beginning of the circuit, Freddy has been regarded as an absolute top player in the Gwent scene. His star ascended fully in Vienna, Austria in September of 2017 by winning the first ever Gwent Slam – followed by championships at the Gwent Open #2 and ultimately Gwent Challenger #2. The latest success was the crowning achievement for the Brit, who has been active and involved not only in the competitive scene, but also added to his exposure by starting to stream regularly.
Whether he plays his favorite deck Consume Monsters, goes on the ladder with other archetypes or even shows you a glimpse into his chess skills, his streams are always fun, light-hearted and entertaining. Packing this one-two punch, he is an ideal player to add to the already stacked Gwent roster of Complexity Gaming and we are proud to have him on board!
Make sure to give Freddy a good welcome to the Complexity family on his Twitter or swing by his next stream.
