coL.HoN has been invited to participate in the prestigious $5000 Runic Shift Invitational. This 2 day tournament will feature 8 international teams and seeks to give the top squads a chance to practice in the new Runic Shift Patch. With hundreds of changes in Heroes of Newerth as a result of Friday’s patch the heroes, items, and strategies are expected to be very different from the meta-game HoN has had for the past 8 months.
The first round will feature matchups between top teams like ex-Trademark eSports and Afraid while later in the day compLexity Gaming will take on #5 ranked team, Q sQuad 357. For Q sQuad 357 this match will be their first competitive match since their 2-3 loss to LIONS in the HoN Tour Playoffs Grand Finals. The European team will be looking for redemption for failing to make it to Las Vegas while compLexity will be looking to prove that they are not just a top 3 team, but the top team in HoN.
