Tonight coL.SC2’s Killer took home a second place finish in the One Nation of Gamers Invitational 2. While it would have been nice for Killer to win the entire tournament, he still has earned the $1,000 second-place prize.
It was a hard fought road with both a group stage and a bracket loaded with seasoned pros including: Kas, Boyo, Golden, viOLet, TLO, and Snute. One interesting story line going into the final match is that the only match Killer lost in his group stage was versus Snute 0-2. Unfortunately Killer had to face off against Snute in the finals falling with a score of 3-4.
It is important to note that Killer had a rough start to the finals, losing three out of the first four games in the best of seven. Despite having the odds against him, Killer hung in there taking Snute to the Ace match.
Again, we at compLexity are very proud of Killer’s performance and expect to see him in many more finals of tournaments.
