Update: EG has advanced to the Grand Finals where they will take on coL.SC2. The match is set to begin at 6PM EST. coL only has to win one bo3 series while EG has to win two, as they are playing from the LB.
Tonight, coL.SC2 finds themselves in the Grand Finals of ESEA’s Season 8 SC2 division. In the Upper Bracket Finals, coL managed to take down EG by the score of 3-1 and will have an opportunity to face them again as EG takes on vVv in the Lower Bracket Finals later today.
The grand finals will be a best of five series, however it is unknown if the team from the losers bracket will need to win two bo5 series or if it is a winner take all ruleset. We have contacted ESEA for clarification, but have not received an official response at this time.
