coL.SC2 in IEM North American & European Final Quali’s

Tonight will see both the North American and European Final Qualifiers for the Intel Extreme Masters StarCraft II Tournament at the Global Challenge Sao Paulo. For those of you who don’t know, “the Global Challenge at Campus Party in Sao Paulo will be the fifth event of the global league of the Intel Extreme Masters. Sixteen StarCraft II players will clash in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from February 6th to 12th, for a total prize money of $21,000!”
In the European Qualifier, the top two finalists will earn their spot at Sao Paulo. While all the players are not registered yet, expect to see names like Adelscott, HasuObs, Delphi, merz, KroLu, Socke and real duking it out tonight. In the North American Tournament, which starts up tonight and concludes on Jan 12th, things will be run a little differently. There have already been three Pre-Qualifiers, where the top four players advanced to tonight’s Final Qualifier. Combine these twelve players with four that have been invited and you get a sixteen player bracket. The player list includes:
