Update: After a hard fought battle through the brackets, NaNiWa fell to Sen by the score of 1-2, resulting in a 4th place finish at Blizzcon 2011.
This weekend, compLexity SC2’s Johan Luchessi (“NaNiWa”) will be competing in the official Blizzcon 2011 SC2 event where he will battle it out against 15 of the world’s best in a double-elimination tournament. This year’s event is taking place in Anaheim, California at the Anaheim Convention Center.
While NaNiWa competes, the rest of the compLexity attendees, including Park Soo Ho (“DongRaeGu”), Paulo Viscarra (“CatZ”), Andrew Moysey (“Drewbie”), Jason Lake, Jason Bass, Edward Chang and Josh Sutherland (“AskJoshy”). The team will be working the Sound Blaster booth all weekend, providing fans the opportunity to meet and play against some of the coL.SC2 players. Free gear, including Sound Blaster headsets, will be given away all weekend. Live streams of the matches from the booth can be found in the stream below.
NaNiWa finds himself up against Juan “terran” Tena in round one of the event. Terran qualified for Blizzcon by winning the Latin American Battle.net Invitational. Since winning the invitational, Terran, like NaNiWa, has been training in Korea.
