Complexity, Limit Join Forces to Take Competitive PvE to the Next Level

FRISCO, Texas — October 28, 2019 — Complexity Gaming, one of North America’s most elite and longest-standing esports organizations, and Limit, the top World of Warcraft guild in the United States, today announced a partnership to enhance World of Warcraft’s competitive PvE scene in North America. As part of this first-of-its kind partnership, Complexity has signed Limit under the Complexity brand and will see Limit adjust their name to Complexity Limit. This marks Complexity’s first formal presence in the competitive World of Warcraft PvE. The two companies will bring PvE into the spotlight and create unique opportunities for fans of both organizations to enjoy the highest level of competition available in PvE. The two organizations will work hand-in-hand on unique opportunities, continuing to push forward in the Race to World First events and more.

“Limit is globally recognized as one of the most successful and veteran raiding guilds in World of Warcraft, and we’re excited to welcome them to the Complexity family,” said Jason Lake, Founder and CEO, Complexity Gaming. “They are the perfect partner to work alongside to bring a compelling and engaging new experience to our collective communities and beyond.”

This partnership aims to enhance and provide new value to both organizations through merging the combined resources of two successful North American brands. Joining forces allows both organizations to reach and connect with each other’s audiences to amplify this form of competitive gaming entertainment. For Complexity, the partnership marks the return to the World of Warcraft scene, after being notable in the space when World of Warcraft Arena was at its peak. For Complexity Limit, this marks a definitive step toward overtaking Method for the coveted World First kill of N’zoth and beyond.

“From the moment we met with Complexity, we felt like we had found an organization that truly shared our values and passion,” said Max “Maximum” Smith, Complexity Limit Guild Master and Raid Leader. “The partnership is not only mutually beneficial to both of our groups, but also provides new and unique opportunities for our members and fans alike.”

Founded in 2015, Limit has established themselves as a top World of Warcraft guild in North America and is widely regarded as a powerhouse, chasing World First kills every new raid released in World of Warcraft. Since the races have become more public, the guild continues to pursue the ultimate reward, battling it out for the first “full clear” of the challenging new World of Warcraft raids. Though that achievement has eluded them thus far, the margin is narrowing each event. Another one of their breakthroughs came this summer when they partnered with Red Bull to play against their European rivals in a tense battle to claim the head of Queen Azshara. That goal was ultimately missed by a few attempts, but with the support of Complexity, they are looking to become the first guild to bring down N’zoth.

About Complexity Limit
Limit, now known as Complexity Limit, was founded in early 2015 from top raiding guilds across North America. Setting their eyes on beating other North American guilds, while also improving their own world rankings, they took their first NA #1, World 7th rank in Hellfire Citadel, tackling Mythic Archimonde and sealing their fate as a force to be reckoned with. As they’ve climbed the world ranks tier after tier, it became clear after taking World 2nd on Mythic G’huun, that there was only one more thing to do, and that was to push for World First. Something they will seek to achieve with Complexity Gaming’s support.
