compLexity Welcomes WoW Squad

It is with great pleasure that The Syndicate announces that we are bringing on a WoW Arena squad to supplement our Counter-Strike and FIFA teams for 2009.  Tonight at 9:00 PM EST we will be announcing the players on the squad LIVE in cooperation with ArenaCast, the premier video/podcast for World of Warcraft.

About ArenaCast:

ArenaCast is a podcast featuring some of the biggest names today in World of Warcraft E-sports. Every Wednesday at 8 p.m. CST, four World of Warcraft nerds sit down and talk all things WoW.

About the cast:

JP McDaniel — Host, Producer, and Editor of the show, JP McDaniel is a veteran e-sports journalist with work at GotFrag, Amped News, Gameriot, CGS, and more.

Keith ‘Igoaf’ Trahan — Keith is seasoned raider in WoW and a member of the well-known guild Nurfed. His shoutcasting debut at MLG Dallas in 2008 was welcomed by everyone in the community. He brings with him vast knowledge of the game.

Nathan ‘Kintt’ Quinn — Nathan is a proud member of Team Pandemic, who in 2007 won countless tournaments in WoW. Nathan is very well-known in the community and has experience shoutcasting at MLG events. His knowledge of the game is unrivaled.

Sam ‘oplaid’ Lingle — Sam is another veteran e-sports journalist, but also a professional gamer with wins in several games. Currently he is on Team Pandemic Team Fortress 2 team, who is undefeated in tournament play. Sam contributes his vast knowledge of general e-sports to the show.


Also, we have brought on JP McDaniel as our feature writer for WoW content, so welcome him here.  Keep an eye on NoobFlicks for the latest and hottest WoW movies!

 

We know the coL Community is traditionally accustomed to FPS games (outside our previous DOTA squad) but we ask you to welcome these players with open arms.  We’re confident we have a championship squad and hope for great things.

Houston, TX — compLexity Gaming is proud to announce its new World of Warcraft (WoW) team recently acquire from GotGame.East. The team includes the amazing Rogue player, Jordan ‘happyminti’ Mance, one of the top Druids, Alex ‘Sodah’ Ringe, and quite possibly the best mage in the game, Elliott ‘Venruki’ Venczel.

Before becoming part of the compLexity organization, these three players had an amazing 2008 season. With a third place finish at ESL LA, the team bested themselves at the national qualifiers in Philladelphia placing second, qualifying them for the world finals in March 2009. They also took the College Gaming League, winning the online tournament. They are a force to be reckoned with in the WoW world and now have compLexity’s full backing. See you in 2009!
