1st Annual Creative Complexity Challenge

If the answers to the above questions are yes then this is the event for you. Complexity Gaming, in cooperation with CEVO, is proud to announce the 1st Annual Creative Complexity Challenge (“C3”). Over the course of two weekends Complexity will run a CEVO powered tournament to find an up and coming Counter-Strike 1.6 team to wear the Complexity tag and jersey for the remainder of 2009.
The winner of this event will become part of the Complexity family, receive a pro contract and represent Complexity at one domestic event in 2009. The winners will become our “B” squad alongside coL.cs and have the opportunity to practice with one of the top Counter-Strike teams in the world by playing against Complexity’s premiere professional line up. As a member of Complexity you will be subject to all of the sponsor products and top tier support that every player in the organization already enjoys. This is your shot. If you’ve always wanted to be a professional gamer, then step up and earn your dream.
Thanks to fantastic support from Creative, the top team is not the only winner. Fantastic prize packs will be given to the 2nd and 3rd place teams. The prize break down is as follows:
1st – Becomes part of Complexity and receives a contract
2nd – Each team member will receive a Creative XFI XtremeGamer Sound Card and Creative Fatal1ty Brand Headset (Team package valued at over $1000)
3rd – Each team member will receive a Creative Fatal1ty Brand Headset (Team package valued around $400)

Complexity is also pleased to announce that Marcus “djWheat” Graham will be broadcasting and commentating for the entirety of the tournament. Tournament Details:
– 128 teams, single elimination.
– Registration is FREE.
– All matches will use the bo3 format.
– Matches played on February 28th/March 1st and March 7th/8th between 2:00 PM EST and 10:00 PM EST.
– Registration is open from Sunday, February 8th – Saturday, February 28th.
– Standard CEVO rules apply, 15 round halves, $800 startmoney, and teams will knife for side choice.
– Maps are de_dust2, de_nuke, de_inferno, de_train, de_tuscan, de_russka, and de_forge (Map Rotation: TBA).
– The CMN will be enabled for all matches.
– Teams are permitted to dispute only ONE player per team per match.

Round 5 – Saturday 6 PM EST
Round 6 – Double Elimination – Sunday 2 PM EST
Round 7 – Double Elimination – Sunday 4 PM EST
Round 8 – Lower Bracket Finals – Sunday 6 PM EST
Grand Finals – Best of 3 – Sunday 8 PM EST

In order to be eligible to compete in this tournament teams must not be contracted by another organization for the remainder of 2009. Only teams in North and South America are eligible to compete. The winner will sign a contract with Complexity upon winning the event. Your entire roster must have registered accounts at compLexityGaming.com and must idle #compLexity on Gamesurge IRC for the duration of the event to facilitate communication. See the CEVO website for all rules regarding the tournament. CEVO is in charge of all operational aspects of the tournament and all decisions by CEVO staff are final.
