Drewbie to Korea

BY Andrew Miesner / August 16, 2011

Today The Syndicate is pleased to announce that our partnership with Team MvP has resulted in the opportunity for Andrew “drewbie” Moysey to travel to Korea to train for nearly six weeks leading up to MLG Orlando. Drewbie will be leaving for Seoul on September 1st and returning October 12th. He will be living and training with some of the best Korean players in the world and we have high hopes that this intensive training period will take his game to the next level.

Drewbie had the following to say:

I’ve been playing StarCraft for almost 10 years, and Korea has always been the center of the StarCraft universe. It has always been a dream of mine to go there and compete and try to be one of the best players in the world. I’m excited to visit Korea and stay at the MVP house for some hardcore training. I’m working very hard right now so that I don’t get owned too badly when I get there. I’m really happy that compLexity has made this deal with MVP because it gives me this amazing opportunity. I want to thank compLexity and Team MVP, as well as Creative, PNY, SoundBlaster, Origin, and QPad USA for giving me this chance. I am very grateful and will do my best to take full advantage.

We’re excited about Andrew’s increased commitment to StarCraft 2 and are happy to support him as he works hard to represent the coL Community. Wish him luck in Korea and stay tuned for videos and photos of his trip!

Thanks as always for your support!
