e-Stars Poll changes over night

BY Andrew Miesner / May 1, 2009

Just like last year the e-Stars poll changed drasticly over night with three teams tripling their fan votes. The French team emuLate came out of nowhere, as yesterday they placed dead last in the voting. The two other teams to receive huge amount of votes was Made in Brazil and fnatic, who both had built up a solid lead, without anything looking suspicious.

It is a possibility to cheat on the poll as several users from poland posted on HLTV.org. They say that IP’s change dynamically in poland along with places around the world. Obviously there are other ways to cheat which don’t include dynamic IP’s.

It may be a possibility that the e-Stars organizers may once again remove votes based on cheating. Check back for updates on this event!
