Fnatic Announces New WoW Team

BY Andrew Miesner / July 16, 2009

After a rough start to this years WoW season, Fnatic has made big roster changes. Hafu, Glick and Rhaegyn were let go from the team. Yog will be the only member remaining from the dominant World of Warcraft team of 2008.

With this new roster, Fnatic has geared them selves up to make a run for the top in both, the American and International scene.

Sam “zr0” Mathews, owner of Fnatic, had this to say on the new WoW team:

Its a big shame to see the likes of a once great team shy away from its former glory in the form of our World Of Warcraft US squad with Hafu, Glick, Yog, Rhaegyn. However with any developing esports title, things change, skill-sets needed change, activity levels change and when this happens its our duty as a professional video gaming team to adapt and make the necessary changes to OUR squad to keep us competitive and on top of OUR game.

It is with this, that I am extremely proud to welcome our new World of Warcraft US squad into our midst. The squad has been made up through the help of current member Yog, with new members being Neilyo, Woundman, douja. Together with Yog they will be fighting under the Fnatic flag at future events looking to bring back glory to our once feared World Of Warcraft team. Welcome guys and may you do us proud, we will be behind you 100%!
