A few days ago the energy drink company Red Bull announced that it will be hosting a 16-man invitational called “Battlegrounds.” Featuring a total prize pool of $41,000, Battlegrounds will be held on 26th-27th May in Austin, TX. Commentary will be provided by Sean “Day[9]” Plott, Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham, Mike “Husky” Lamond and Rob Simpson.
In the initial announcement Red Bull only listed two of the invited players, Stephano and Parting. Since then, Red Bull has been updating the player list via Twitter. So far the players that have been announced include: White-Ra, Huk, Polt, Bomber, Taeja and compLexity’s own Ganzi.
