Groups announced for IEM – Dubai

The groups for the Extreme Masters Global Challenge Dubai have been announced. Team SK-gaming will be facing heavy competition from teams Mouz and Vitriolic in which only one team can advance. Teams participating in The Extreme Masters Global Challenge in Dubai are divided up into five seeding pools of two teams each, with two local qualifiers. Once all the teams in each group have all played each other, the first placed team will advance to the best-of-3 single elimination playoffs. The second and third placed teams will play a relegation match and if they win will also advance to the playoffs.

The seeding pools looked as follows:
