Gaming superstar, Emil “HeatoN” Christensen has just recentely signed a deal with gaming gear giant, QPAD. HeatoN will be working with QPAD on product research, design and development, as well as marketing and sales. Below is the official press release:

QPAD SIGNS WITH EMIL “HeatoN” CHRISTENSEN.

QPAD, the Swedish company famed for its premium gaming gear, today brings a big surprise for 2009 by announcing its new collaboration with the famous pro gamer Emil “HeatoN” Christensen. Combining leading expertise in product development and gaming makes this an ideal partnership for the growing market of gaming products. The joint venture will be responsible for product research, design and development, as well as marketing and sales.

Emil “HeatoN” Christensen is known throughout the world for his achievements in the Counterstrike 1.6 pro gaming arena, and his unique technique when shooting. By taking his team “NiP” (Ninjas in Pyjamas) to winning the World Championship and once more with the successful team SK Gaming, HeatoN has been a center figure in the pro-gaming arena for a long time. Even after being an active pro-gamer he was General Manager for the Swedish team “Stockholm Magnetik” in the global gaming tournament CGS.

This will give me the opportunity to develop products based on my long experience in gaming and QPAD can deliver the high level of quality that is needed. When I was an active player there were a lot of really good products but all of them lacked that extra to make them perfect. The work with “HeatoN” has already started and the first product will be launched before the summer on all markets.
