In an interesting turn of events, compLexity CrossCounter’s own Mike Ross has been selected to represent Team USA in the upcoming LG Korea Cup for Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition. The qualifiers were held a while back in Los Angeles, and MRN.Wolfkrone won the event and was chosen as the US Representative. However, MRN.Wolfkrone is currently busy with his studies for finals, and thus a replacement was sought.
The runner-up of the event, EG.Floe, was not able to attend due to the short notice of the request. The LG Cup is in a mere two weeks from now, and it is a two week trip. They went down the list, coL.CC Combofiend was also asked but was unable to get time off from work.
Finally they worked their way down to the people’s champ, Mike Ross. Mike Ross finished in Seventh place at the LG Cup Qualifier, but he will be proudly representing the US along with EG’s Justin Wong. We’d like to wish the best of luck to Mike Ross and Team USA as they look to take on the world’s best!
