Modern Warfare 2 Hits $1 Billion

Yesterday, Activsion announced that Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 keeps setting records by hitting the $1 billion mark worldwide since its debut in November 2009.

The first few days after its release,  the game sold about $550 million worldwide beating recent movies such as: Harry Potter, Avatar and Twilight according to Activsion and boxofficemojo.com.
