The nintendo DS was first released in 2004. It is rapidly becoming one of the most popular consoles in the world. Just recently hitting its 100 million sales mark, Nintendo is doing extremely well. The sales are comined between all the Nintendo DS consoles (DS, DS Lite and the DSi which is soon to be released in North America).
