After a long weekend at the SoCal Revival LAN, coL.cs is back in the comfort of their own homes and ready for the next big event – the CEVO Professional Season 4 Playoffs. Despite a small setback on LAN just a few nights ago, the coL boys have their eyes on the prize, with a deep playoff run at the forefront of their minds. Additionally, with the squad only one win away from a potential rematch against rival iBuyPower, sweet revenge may be another motivating factor for success.
Before that possible clash, the boys in black will have to focus their attention on tonight’s challenge – a best-of-three against NetcodeGuides. The team holding the #2 seed after the eight week regular season is poised to once more upset the powerhouse coL.cs squad, while on the other side compLexity is determined to show they can beat Netcode, after a loss to the team in ESEA Invite just two weeks ago. If coL.cs can play anything like they did in last week’s CEVO Playoffs match against United5, they will be in a great spot to advance further into the winner’s bracket.
A spot in the upper bracket finals awaits the winners, while a detour through the dreaded lower bracket is in store for the loser.
