Sound Blaster Announces SBHL Bracket and Schedule

The qualifiers are done, the brackets are set, and the matches are scheduled. The Sound Blaster Heroes League is kicking it into high gear starting next week. 16 teams from North America, Europe, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the CIS Region will compete in a global tournament for pride and their share of the $40,000 cash and prize pool.

The first round of the Sound Blaster Heroes League championship bracket is scheduled to start next Monday and will feature new and rarely seen international match-ups. The venerable Q sQuad 357 will take on the top Indonesian team, nxl> while promising upstarts like Afraid will face off against the proven might of the dominant SEA team, Orange Esports Malaysia. The final invited team, Pikachu, will have to face the CIS champions, Cats Gaming, while compLexity Gaming will take on the surprise of the qualifiers, BYE Team. If the new match-ups aren’t your thing then there are always the classics. LIONS eSportsKlubb will take on the agressive Swedish team Pencils while the recently hyped One Trick Pony will face off against potentially the strongest team in the scene, stayGreen.

The Sound Blaster Heroes League schedule was designed so that every single match will be broadcast live, around the world. The first week of March will be dedicated exclusively to the Round of 16 matches while the following week will clean up the Round of 8, semi-finals, and final match.
