Since the end of 2007, SK Gaming has experienced very little changes in their Counter-Strike 1.6 line-up. Recently there have been rumors circulating in the community about Kristoffer “Tentpole” Nordlund parting ways with the team due to missing salary payments. On the SK Gaming roster page, many have noticed that Tentpole is the only player to remove hardware from his listing as well as change is profile to list SK Gaming as a past team.
Today the rumor about Tentpole was announced to be true indeed. The reason for his release was said to be that Tentpole had lost the energy for the game and eSports. Below is what Tentpole had to say about the departure.
Thanks for the support everyone, it really means a lot! Thanks to my family for letting me stay up late as a lil’ kid, that’s how it all started and that’s why I got to experience so much. Thanks to my friends and girlfriend for understanding I sometimes had to play instead of hang out. Come say hi at quakenet, #muskelbyggning and #vxo is where I’ll be.
This leaves SK Gaming’s line-up at:
Jimmy “allen” Allen
Robert “RobbaN” “Dahlström
Dennis “walle” Wallenberg
Marcus “zet” Sundström
