MicrosoftWith Microsoft finished with their second annual Play Smart, Play Safe survey results are in with a overwhelming result from UK parents. Seventy-Five percent of UK parents believe that gaming is beneficial to their childrens lives along with their families’.

The survey polled parents and their children in the UK on different aspects of their gaming experience. According to the survey parents scores have improved since last years survey in a few different areas. In areas of note are the awareness to parental controls which has improved to 73% and feeling that they are responsible for checking age ratings, which improved to 94%.

While this survey may show that more and more parents are aware to the age ratings and content of these video games, most parents don’t seem to worried about letting their children play games out of their age range.
