UKeSA Gets Dell Sponsorship

The governing body of competitive eSports in the United Kingdom, known as The United Kingdom eSports Association (UKeSA), has made an official agreement will hardware leader Dell to become the official hardware sponsor of UKeSA’s first season.

Dell is the number one PC supplier in the United States and is the second leading supplier elsewhere in the world.  UKeSA will be using their XPS series of computers that are designed for top-end gaming.  “Competitive gaming is gathering momentum, particularly in the UK,” said David Clifton, Director of Consumer Marketing for Dell Europe. UKeSA and Dell are both very happy to have this sponsorship contract and are hoping to kick of UKeSA with a bang.

UKeSA officially starts today, February 16, 2009, with online recognition and some views of public television for the professional league.  These leagues will culminate into a Gaming Exhibition in London in April of 2009.  Good luck to all teams in UKeSA!
