WCGWorld Cyber games have decided that they will indeed extend their contract with the Korean tv network OnGamenet for one more year.

Both WCG and OnGamenet have been working together since the WCG 2006 Grand Final in Monza, Italy and during last years WCG finals in Cologne, and have decided to go one more year together.

The final was broadcasted with 187 tournament relay programs in English, German and Korean to China`s NeoTV, Germany`s Giga TV, internet broadcast GameSports, and UK`s QuadV channel.

Hyoung Seok Kim, president and CEO of World Cyber Games had this to say:

We are truly looking forward to extending our relationship with OnGamenet and we are very excited to continue to broadcast e-sports at the highest level. The WCG’s popularity in China, along with the previous year’s broadcast ratings, is a sure sign that this year’s WCG 2009 Grand Final will be the most successful and most viewed to date.
