The WCG National Championship is the largest gaming event presented within the boarder of the United States every year. The total prize pot is sitting at $100,000 in cash. It will be taking place September 25th-27th at The Jacob K. Javits Center in New York. There will be several chances for spectators to get involved and of course watch their favorite gamers compete.
Show Highlights
This years event will feature several surprises, as well as the following:
Two spectators will have the chance to compete and earn a spot on Team USA and compete at the Grand Final in China.
The best USA video game players will be battling it out in 10 different top title games for a total prize pot of $100,000.
20 WCG gamers will earn spots on the Team USA roster for the trip to China.
The entire cast from The WCG Ultimate Gamer will be invited back to meet with fans and the audience, and even compete with them in the “free play” area.
WCG and their partners/sponsors will be giving away truck loads of free prizes.
