Woundman to EG, Fnatic.WoW up in the air

BY Andrew Miesner / July 19, 2010

FnaticMSI player Emerson ‘Woundman’ Condon has been transferred to Evil Geniuses for an un-disclosed fee. With the addition of Woundman, Mark “Pookz” Rendon will move to a back up player, giving EG a very strong four man roster.

Woundman joined up with EG to compete at Extreme Masters Global Championships as Pookz was unable to attend. EG went on to win the event.

After a respectable third place finish at MLG Columbus recently, Fnatic today announce the transfer for an un-disclosed fee of Emerson ‘Woundman’ Condon to G7 and MSI partner organisation Evil Geniuses.  Already a household name in the WoW community, Emerson is most notably known for his time within Fnatic and during his stint led to him being recognized as an upcoming superstar and one of the best Rogue’s in the world.  Coming off of a moderately successful run it became apparent that the team were looking for changes.  A relatively new player in the professional scene, Emerson has proven why he is world class. We expect many great things from Emerson in the future and wish him well in his new organisation, which takes immediate effect. At this time it is undecided if Fnatic will continue to support WoW but will evaluate the situation in the next coming days with our remaining players. – Neil Kirk, FnaticMSI Business Development Manager
