x6 returns with eMg.WoW

BY Andrew Miesner / October 10, 2009

Check Six, after almost being gone for a year, is making a comeback. x6 is back with a sponsorship from Microsoft and the eMg.WoW squad. At the end of September we saw Nathan ‘Kintt’ Quinn retire from WoW. With his depature from the team, Mike ‘Toes’ Edwards will be joining.

General Manager of CheckSix had this to say to Gotfrag.

“This time around, CheckSix will be focusing on a few key gaming titles which we feel we be essential to the long-term success of the organization. Specifically, we do not want to spread ourselves too thin, something which we fell was a pitfall for us in the past. CheckSix will be making announcements of subsequent divisions soon. CheckSix has made some mistakes in the past but we have learned from them. With the support of Microsoft, the new CheckSix will return to the forefront of competitive gaming as one of eSports Finest.”

Currently the team is sitting in first place in the MLG Standings; with a second place finish in Columbus and a first place finish in Dallas.
