Project Manana: July Summer Camp
Andrew Miesner
Last month we called on you, the fans, asking for support for Project Manana, a small charity that provides food and education for impoverished children in the Domincan Republic. After receiving well over $1,000 from fans, players and staff, Project Manana had what they needed to host their July Summer camp which included over 50 children and a week of activities and fun.
Throughout the week, the children enjoyed:
- Drama / Story Time
- Lots of Games
- Arts and Crafts
- Singing / Dancing
- ... and, of course, a Nutritious Meal
As the camp came to a close, the children were treated to an ice cream party -- with ice cream from their favorite local ice cream shop.
