coL’s very own Yfran “eafra” Garcia will be moving to to represent Team USA in the WCG Finals in Chengdu, China. Eafra went undefeated in the double-elimination portion of the tournament, defeating former coL FIFA player Felipe “KreeganBG” Stoyne 2 matches to 1. Eafra defeated Michael “michs09” LaBelle twice in the double-elimination tournament, including a dominating performence in the Grand Finals, taking out michs09 by winning 2 matches in a row.
This weekend, Eafra from our FIFA squad will be competing to represent USA in FIFA 09 and take home the first place prize of $2,500. At last years World Cyber Games National Final, a member from Team Pandemic, Michs, brought home the gold. He represented the USA in the international WCG event. This year, Eafra will be looking to close the doors and bring it home to compLexity.
In the first round, Eafra faces off against Jpas97 (aka: analyze from coL staff). Each match will be in a BO3 Format. During the first two days, it will be a round robin tournament.
