In a night that went from 2 matches to one, coL.cs finally took on j1n for Week 7-1 of the CEVO Seasn 11 regular season. The map was de_russka and coL, even though dropping the pistol, played hot. They were able to take the second round of the match on a coL trademark deco and kept their momentum through the half, taking it 12-3. In the second half, coL again dropped the pistol, however they weren’t so lucky in the second round, dropping that to j1n. However, in the 3rd round coL regained their footing and took their 13th round of the match. coL.cs only allowed j1n to grab one more round before they were finished off by a score of 16-6. Good game to both teams.
Update: EG has requested that the match be rescheduled due to unknown circumstances.
Tonight, the coL.cs team is in action yet again as they take on their North American rival, EG, for CEVO Week 8-2 and j1n for a week 7-1 match.
coL.cs and EG haven’t gone head to head since week 4-1 of CEVO, where compLexity was able to steamroll EG by a score of 16-2 on de_dust2. EG comes into this match with a 13-1 record, in first place in CEVO, as they currently have played one more match than coL. This will prove to be a huge match, as the CEVO season is dwindling down to the end, and any change in the standings can have a large impact on the playoffs. The match will take place on de_train at 10PM EST. Stay tuned for coverage info!
The second match tonight will be against j1n, a team they have become quite familiar with in the past few weeks. j1n comes into the match with a 6-7 record, currently sitting at 7th place and in placeoff contention. The match is scheduled to take place on de_russka at 11PM EST. As always, coverage will be provided.
