Today we are announcing the transfer of Anthony ‘Harbleu’ Ballo from coL.OW. We’re saddened to see Harbleu departing, but we’re proud to have been his home for the last eight months. During that time he has grown immensely as a competitor and a streaming personality, and we’re confident that he will continue to thrive in his new organization.

Today the compLexity Gaming family and our stream team is proud to present it’s newest member, Gwent streamer and voice model Connagh “Merchant” Hawkins.

For a while now, Connagh has made rounds through digital card games, as well as a host of other games. In fact, not only has he played games for the majority of his life, but he also has spent the last couple of years of his professional career as a balancer and community manager for Runescape Legends, as well as for the “oldschool” Runescape.

Now the Brit with gaelic roots and the very deep voice is closing that chapter of his life and starting as a full-time streamer. First and foremost it will be all about the card games, such as Gwent and Hearthstone, but don’t be shocked to see other games pop up on his stream every once in awhile.

Today we are are announcing a change to the coL.Dota roster. Effective immediately, Antonio ‘canceL’ Mihai will be stepping down from our active Dota 2 roster.

Since his recruitment in September, we have been thrilled to have canceL on board. His unique personality, drive to compete, and relentless enthusiasm made the team and the organization a better place. However, in past weeks the team’s performance has faltered and Antonio was the first to point out that he was not performing at the level the team needed, nor what he expected of himself. Since then we have redoubled our efforts to try to help canceL make the improvements necessary, but we’ve simply fallen short. Following a team meeting last night, the players reached a mutual conclusion that canceL would step down from the competitive roster.

While canceL is going to take some time away from Dota, it is our hope that he will remain part of the compLexity organization and stream under our banner from home in Romania. Players of Antonio’s personal character and integrity are rare, so we would be very grateful to have the continued opportunity to work with him.

While changes like these are never easy, we want to thank canceL for his mature approach to the situation, from being self-aware enough to recognize that there was an issue, to volunteering to step down for the betterment of the team.

As a result I decided to take some time to work on my play individually, rather than holding my team back. I am stepping down in the hopes that the team can find someone that is able to help them win, while I improve on my own. I would like to thank coL.Dota, compLexity, and the fans for the good times. I’m sorry to have disappointed this time, but I will keep working hard and I will not give up.”

“When we first recruited Antonio I was a bit skeptical. His reputation wasn’t the greatest, nor was his track record. Much to my delight, it turned out that he was not only a skilled player, but an exceptional human being. I can truly say it has been a delight working with him. It is regrettable that his raw talent wasn’t able to translate to success within the team environment, but I know that he gave it his all, each and every day. I am sad to see him departing the competitive team, but following some time away from Dota, I hope we will be able to continue working with him as a streamer and personality.”
