coL.LoL vs TSM – LCS Week 4

June 15th, 2014
compLexity 2-7 VS 5-4 TSM

Going into the second day of week 4 of the North American LCS, CompLexity Gaming League of Legends is going up against Team Solomid. In their last encounter, things did not go so well as it was in the first week of the LCS super week. They played Team Solomid for their 3rd game of the split; unfortunately, the game ended in a loss for CompLexity Gaming. At the time, the team was a bit timid when it came to making the proper plays, due to a lack of LCS experience. They did however manage to get the first dragon of the game at 14 minutes and 31 seconds.

Advancing further on, coL.LoL knows how to play in the LCS now. They have the experience and have managed to be able to make plays without hesitation recently. Once again, they are not playing with Brokenshard this week since he is in Israel working on acquiring his VISA. Instead, Kez will be taking over in the jungle once more. He has been playing well these last two weeks now, so hopefully he can play his heart out to make the plays and get the ball rolling so we can bring home the victory!

June 14th, 2014
compLexity 2-6 VS 5-3 CLG

Coming into the fourth week of the North American LCS, CompLexity Gaming LoL is set to face off against Counter Logic Gaming in their first game of the week. This will be the second game this split between these two teams; last time, Counter Logic Gaming was victorious but we will see just how much coL has improved since they last faced each other. Since Brokenshard is not back yet, Kevin “Kez” Jeon will take his place this week as a substitute once more. Kez was able to help the team achieve their second win of the season over Curse. He did exceptionally well going 2/1/10 as Lee Sin.

We will have to see just how well CompLexity Gaming does against Counter Logic Gaming, who are currently in fourth place with 5 wins and 3 losses. coL.LoL are currently tied with Evil Geniuses and Curse with 2 wins and 6 losses.

June 6th, 2014

The compLexity Family would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Sean “sgares” Gares as he turns 26 today!

Sean “sgares” Gares is the in-game leader for compLexity Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He has 15 seasons of ESEA Invite under his belt. He has led numerous line-ups to playoff berths at the top level of North American Counter-Strike. He won his first ESEA Invite championship with B2B Gaming while teamed up with Semphis. He was also part of the team that placed third at ESWC 2012 with Hiko and Semphis. Through the years he has developed into one of the best in-game leaders in the game today.

Once again, we’d like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Sean “sgares” Gares!

compLexity Infinite Crisis Disbands

June 5th, 2014

Today, after much consideration, we have decided to part ways with our Infinite Crisis division due to the team’s disbandment.

We’d like to thank the wonderful players who dedicated themselves to making coL.IC one of the most successful teams in a young games history.  Their dedication and hard work was appreciated and will not be forgotten.

Ray “Spaghetti” Stauffer, the captain of the Infinite Crisis team had this to say regarding the situation:

The team has decided to forgo further competitive Infinite Crisis persuits. We would like to thank compLexity for their support, but our hearts aren’t in it anymore. We have neither the time nor drive to continue playing competitively going forward.

Thanks as always for your support of our gaming organization.

Kez to Sub for coL.LoL This Weekend

June 2nd, 2014

This weekend, compLexity League of Legends will be down a man as jungler Ram “Brokenshard” Djemal travels back to Israel for the week. During his absence, Kevin “kez” Jeon will fill the void.

Known for his Lee Sin in Season 2, Kevin ‘Kez’ Jeon is the current jungler for Cloud 9 Tempest. He favors tanky jungle builds in competitive play, and looks to move that style into the LCS following success in the Challenger Series.

Danan “Kaniggit” Flander, the compLexity League of Legends General Manager had this to say:

We’re very excited to announce that Kevin “Kez” Jeon, formerly of Cloud 9 Tempest, will be filling in for Ram “Brokenshard” Djemal for the third week of the LCS. As a close friend of Kez and as the former manager of C9T, it only made sense for me to reach out to my former jungler in order to round out the Complexity roster while Brokenshard is away.

coL.LoL will be taking on both the Curse (Saturday) and LMQ (Sunday) this weekend. More information regarding these matches will become available later this week.

coL.LoL vs CLG – LCS Week 2

June 1st, 2014
compLexity 1-4 VS 3-2 CLG

On the last day of the second week of the North American LCS, compLexity LoL is set to face off against Counter Logic Gaming. Counter Logic Gaming was the 3rd place team during the spring split of the North American LCS. They are currently 3-2 (Win-Loss) here in the summer split and have their new top laner, Seraph, a Korean player. compLexity LoL’s first game of the week against Evil Geniuses ended up as a loss unfortunately. They have their minds prepared for what is to come, Counter Logic Gaming is a strong team, so compLexity LoL need to put everything they have into the game.

Going into the game, compLexity LoL need to find the courage to make the plays. They have been too afraid to make plays and it allows the enemy team to make the plays first. Dragon control is something compLexity LoL need to work on more. Their rotations have also not been what they should be, so hopefully they can learn from their previous games. Lastly, their synergy with Mancloud may not be quite where they want it to be, so communication is key.

coL.LoL vs Team EG – LCS Week 2

May 31st, 2014
compLexity 1-3 VS 0-4 EG

Going into the second week of the North American LCS, CompLexity LoL have their eyes set on their next opponent. For Week 2 Game 1, CompLexity LoL is up against Evil Geniuses, who have a 0-4 record so far in the summer split. CompLexity LoL currently have a 1-3 record following their victory over Cloud 9 last week. As we continue on, CompLexity LoL seem to have gotten a confidence boost since and during the game against Cloud 9. Evil Geniuses, the European team that qualified into the North American LCS finished ended up finishing 7th during the regular spring split. We will have to see just how well we stack up against them.

This week, we will have Mancloud subbing in for pr0lly since he has to tend to some family obligations. We will have to see just how he does with the team, he is no stranger to the LCS as he played for XDG (Vulcan). With that being said, this should be a good matchup going into it and with some current stats, it seems like the game is in CompLexity LoL’s favor. CompLexity LoL have acquired 50% of the dragons in the game and also 50% of the First blood. With this addition of Mancloud, CompLexity LoL look for their first win in the second week of the NA LCS.
